Last year I switched to Lightroom after taking part in Scott Kelby’s Photowalk in San Jose. I got a discount code for Lightroom and decided to give it a try. While not as elegant as Aperture 2, I fell in love with the presets. They not only increased my creativity, it also dramatically increased the speed of my workflow. Lightroom presets killed Aperture 2. Aperture 3 now has presets and ability to handle video. Aperture 3 has just killed Lightroom 2 for me.
