For the timer I used a PClix – http://www.pclix.com/pages/pclix_main.html I like it since with just a switch of the cable I can use it on multiple cameras. Canon makes a nice one and I think Nikons have this function built in, but I might be wrong, I am not a Nikon person.
I shot a ton of frames, no idea how many. Assembled with Quicktime 7 then edited down in Final Cut Pro. I did some post processing in Lightroom or Aperture and I plan to release a tutorial video on how I did that shortly.
